The joinery asked us to use their waste raw material and create something that gave it more value because the material is expensive, and throwing it away would make them lose profit. In this project, I was asked to design, create, and test documents and present my design that is made with scrap wood from the joinery, and the product must be durable, beautiful, and functional.

The first concept I thought of was wall art since this seems to be a successful option from previous years. The art is simple, but it also gives the ability to do many creative things, but they seem to be a little less functional. The second concept I believe to be a good idea was some type of puzzle, especially a really challenging one for the age group. The third concept I had was creating a tabletop item, for example, a keyholder or even a cutting board.
